Hublot Announces Big Bang e Blue Victory, the New Official Watch of the Japan National Football Team

Nov 1, 2022
Swiss luxury watch brand Hublot has been the official watch provider for the Japan National Football Team since 2015. Hublot has now announced its newest connected watch, the Big Bang e Bleu Victory.

As the official watch worn by Japan National Football Team players, the Big Bang e Bleu Victory, as its name suggests, will keep time alongside the Japan National Team as they strive for victory on the stage of their dreams. The dial, case, and strap feature a blue inspired by the team's color, SAMURAI BLUE. The 44mm blue ceramic case, inspired by Hublot's iconic mechanical Big Bang watch, is paired with a calfskin and rubber strap, a first for the Big Bang e, for a luxurious yet sporty look. It also includes a black rubber strap for easy strap changes using Hublot's exclusive One Click system. The Big Bang e Bleu Victory is the third generation of Hublot's Big Bang e connected watch collection, making it the most sophisticated and exciting Big Bang e to date. Featuring an improved, high-definition screen and a newly designed dedicated football app, it allows you to capture every glorious moment of the match. Instead of a cutting-edge mechanical watch movement, this model features the Qualcomm® Snapdragon Wear™ 4100 and the latest version of Wear OS by Google™ (Wear OS 3). Additionally, the watch boasts a comprehensive hardware spec, including an accelerometer, gyroscope, microphone, speaker, GPS, and heart rate monitor. To take advantage of these sensor features, the watch is pre-programmed with the Strava app, the leading platform for athletes and the world's largest sports community, with over 100 million athletes in 195 countries. Strava tracks and analyzes performance across over 30 sports, including running, cycling, swimming, and the recently added soccer. Equipped with Bluetooth 5.0, it connects to a variety of devices and accessories. A suite of preloaded apps keeps you connected, allowing you to track your activity, health, and more. Google Play also offers access to many more great apps right on your watch.

This smartwatch boasts a day-long battery life and takes approximately two hours to fully charge from empty. After five seconds of inactivity, the watch automatically switches to "low power mode" to conserve battery life. This unique timepiece offers exceptional legibility, ergonomics, and elegant, interactive features. It's compatible with Android and iOS and is water resistant to 3 ATM. iOS functionality and compatibility may vary by device.

Hublot has served as the Official Timekeeper of the FIFA World Cup for four consecutive tournaments, and this year it will once again serve as the timekeeper for all 64 matches of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™, including the final at Lusail Stadium in Doha on December 18. The 129 official referees will be wearing Hublot's new connected watch, the Big Bang e FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™, to time the matches.
