The floor plan for the "Ginza 5-chome Project (tentative name)" (5-2-1 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo), a large-scale commercial facility scheduled to open in spring 2016 at the Sukiyabashi intersection in Ginza, Tokyo, has been announced. Based on the development concept of "Creative Japan—The world gets more interesting from here," the new facility is being constructed as a new commercial facility taking advantage of the Ginza area's location, where tradition and innovation coexist. Comprising five basement floors and 11 aboveground floors, the facility will have a total floor area of 3,766.73 square meters. From the second basement floor to the eleventh floor, approximately 120 stores will be offering a wide variety of offerings, including fashion, restaurants and dining, markets, duty-free shops, and food and beverage outlets. Additionally, a symbolic public space is planned for the sixth floor and rooftop. The atrium on the sixth floor will feature a large, 27-meter-high atrium, offering panoramic views of the Ginza nightscape through glass windows featuring the traditional craft of "Edo Kiriko." There will also be a cafe where you can enjoy drinks and light meals in an open space.

In addition, a large open terrace of approximately 1,000 square meters is planned for the rooftop, offering a panoramic view of Ginza from approximately 56 meters above ground. Two different zones are planned to be set up on the terrace, allowing you to use the space of your choice depending on your mood that day.

In addition, in collaboration with Tokyu Bunkamura, events will be held in the public spaces on the 6th floor and rooftop to share information and culture that will allow people to experience the concept.
