On May 23rd, NEWYORKER will host a free, one-night-only jazz live event, "NEWYORKER JAZZ NIGHT in GINZA," at its Ginza flagship store. Jazz vocalist Eri Kamiya and jazz bassist Ren Yamamoto will perform live. Eri Kamiya is an active jazz vocalist who collaborates with a variety of artists, including jazz and Hawaiian musicians. Ren Yamamoto, a member of the Mao Sone Quartet led by trumpeter Mao Sone, also participated in the 2014 National Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, D.C. Magician Junya will also perform a magic trick. Guests who dress up will also be treated to complimentary jazz-inspired cocktails by Kazuma Matsuo, bartender at the Ginza bar "LITTLE SMITH."
