A limited-time beer garden will open from June 1st to September 11th in the plaza on the grounds of the "Kyu-Sakuranomiya Public Hall," a historic Western-style building designated as a national important cultural property.
During the event, the "Kyu-Sakuranomiya Public Hall" and the "Senpukukan" building, also designated as an important cultural property, will be illuminated. The plaza surrounded by the two Western-style buildings will create a fantastical atmosphere, allowing you to enjoy an elegant "adult beer garden." This will be the only time that the grounds of the "Kyu-Sakuranomiya Public Hall," which currently serves as a restaurant and wedding venue, will be open to the public at night.
The beer garden, now in its second year, will be open under the title "Asian Beer," and will offer an all-you-can-eat menu of approximately 15 dishes, including spicy Asian cuisine from Thailand and Vietnam, such as Thai-style roast chicken, rice noodles, and coriander dishes. In addition, a barbecue grill will be available as a set meal, with approximately 10 different ingredients, including beef ribs, sausages, seafood, and vegetables, all on one plate. Drinks are all-you-can-drink and include beer, soft drinks, red wine, white wine, whiskey, shochu, and more. There are also 10 cocktails made with liqueurs such as cassis and Campari.
There are 70 seats at 10 tables, and the restaurant is open from 5pm to 10pm (last orders 9pm). The price is 4,500 yen for two hours, including all-you-can-eat, a barbecue set, and all-you-can-drink options. Minors aged elementary school and above pay 2,500 yen, and preschool children eat free. The barbecue set can be ordered as an additional portion for 1,500 yen per person.
