--When you hear the themes "SOUL CAMP" and "hip hop," what kind of paintings do you imagine you'd paint?

"I think a lot of people in Japanese hip hop place a lot of emphasis on performing in Japanese. That's why I'd like to sample Japanese motifs, like Japanese painting, and mix them with street culture. It's basically the same as what I do in my daily life (laughs)."


--Please tell us about your enthusiasm for performing a "live painting" in the unusual environment of Isetan Shinjuku.

"Even my relatives were like, 'What? You're doing this at Isetan?' (laughs). I'm excited to be performing in such a well-known venue, so I want to work even harder than usual."


--What aspects of your work would you like customers to notice?

"I'm proud to be creating works that are unique and unique, so I'd be happy if this opportunity allowed people in Japan to discover the appeal of Japanese-style paintings."
