Plantation Jiyugaoka branch has collaborated with te to ba, a popular cafe and shop in the Goto Islands of Nagasaki. From September 14th to 25th, they will be holding an event called "Traveling Plantation⇆Traveling te to ba" (hands and fields), which will sell items selected by the store owner and exhibit photos of summer on Fukue Island in the Goto Islands.

te to ba

"Traveling Plantation" is a project launched with the aim of allowing people who cannot visit Plantation stores to actually see, touch, and experience the items. This time, the place where the event met with local residents was the cafe and shop te to ba on Fukue Island in the Goto Islands in Nagasaki Prefecture. This popular store, renovated from a 140-year-old traditional Japanese house, was founded with the concept of "creating a space that connects the lives of residents with the aspirations of visitors."

This is a collaboration between te to ba <te to ba> and Plantation Jiyugaoka store. During the event, items related to the Goto Islands selected by the owner of te to ba <te to ba> will be on sale.

Sea Glass Accessories

Products on offer include carefully selected ingredients, such as dashi packs from "Kachine Honpo," a katsuobushi specialty store in Kyushu, Japan's No. 1 katsuobushi producer, beloved by many professional chefs; and additive-free jam from "Kumagoro," a bottled store specializing in seasonal vegetables and fruits, featuring adorable packaging featuring Goto City's mascot, "Tsubaki Neko." The lineup also includes beautiful sea glass accessories, balms and soaps made with camellia oil, and more. During the event, Po Marie, owner of te to ba, will be in the shop on September 21st and 23rd.

Shop Coat (¥32,400 including tax) Brown, Khaki, Navy

In addition, the venue will host a photo exhibition by Yuko Yasukawa, a photographer active in the magazine &Premium, showcasing summer scenes on Fukue Island alongside Plantation items.

Experience the charm of the Goto Islands and experience the travel ambiance in Jiyugaoka.
