Toraya Cafe and Toraya Cafe An Stand have introduced a new, refreshing menu item perfect for the summer.

"An Paste Shaved Ice [Strawberry]" (756 yen including tax)
An Stand Kita-Aoyama and Shinjuku branches are introducing "An Paste Shaved Ice," a combination of plenty of an paste and carefully selected homemade syrup. The ice used is natural ice made by slowly freezing rare, renowned water from the Yatsugatake Mountains in the Southern Alps to increase its purity. The lineup includes "An Paste Shaved Ice [Condensed Milk]" (702 yen, tax included), made with homemade condensed milk slowly and carefully brewed over low heat; "An Paste Shaved Ice [Strawberry]" (756 yen, tax included / Strawberry Condensed Milk 864 yen, tax included), a sweet and sour strawberry syrup made with plenty of "Amaou" strawberries; and "An Paste Shaved Ice [Matcha]" (702 yen, tax included / Matcha Condensed Milk 810 yen, tax included), a matcha syrup made with generous amounts of Uji matcha and astringent flavor. The "Condensed Milk" and "Strawberry" flavors are served with a perfect blend of smooth bean paste paste, while the "Matcha" flavor is topped with a sweet bean paste paste made with red bean paste. The An Stand Kita-Aoyama store will be selling these flavors from June 19th to September 19th. At the An Stand Shinjuku store, "Strawberry" will be on sale until July 2nd, "Condensed Milk" until September 19th, and "Matcha" will be on sale from May 15th to September 19th.


In addition, An Stand Shinjuku offers two exclusive flavors. Introducing the "An Paste Shaved Ice [Mango]" (810 yen including tax / 918 yen including tax with mango condensed milk), which can be enjoyed with a smooth bean paste made with Miyakojima mango puree, and the "An Paste Shaved Ice [Hassaku]" (756 yen including tax / 864 yen including tax with hassaku condensed milk), which is made with a hassaku syrup made with plenty of hassaku puree.

The "An Paste Shaved Ice [Mango]" will be available from July 3rd to August 1st, and the "An Paste Shaved Ice [Hassaku]" will be available from August 2nd to September 19th.


"Matcha and Citrus Milk Mizore" (¥864 including tax)
Three varieties of "Mizore" are available monthly, exclusively at the Toraya Cafe Aoyama branch. These unique, crunchy ice cubes are carefully shaved with a fork. From June 19th to July 16th, "Matcha and Citrus Milk Mizore" (¥864 including tax) will be available. This drink features a layer of sweet bean paste in the bottom of a glass, fragrant matcha shaved ice, and soy milk shaved ice with the citrus aromas of lemon and orange.



From July 17th to August 10th, "Watermelon Shaved Ice" will be available. Made with pureed fresh watermelon and only white honey, this shaved ice tastes just like watermelon. This annual, most popular Mizore is covered in a rum-flavored bean paste sauce and sprinkled with azuki beans resembling watermelon seeds.

From August 17th to September 19th, "Citron Ginger Mizore" (864 yen including tax) will be available, offering the refreshing flavors of orange and lemon and the tangy taste of ginger. The Mizore is topped with shiratama rice dumplings and raspberry bean paste paste, and can be enjoyed with citrus syrup.
