Kashiwa-no-ha Bread & Beer Festa 2018: Bread Time, Chiba Prefecture's largest bread festival, will be held over two days, April 21st and 22nd, at Kashiwa-no-ha T-SITE, bringing together a total of 53 bakeries.


The venue will feature a wide variety of bakeries, from famous Tokyo bakeries to famous local bakeries, and bakeries that are usually only available online or at events.

Local breads, beloved soul food of locals, will also be available. The lineup includes Fuji City's specialty, Fuji Bakery's "Yokan Pan," Okinawa's Okiko Pan's "Zebra Bread," Kochi's Nagano Kyokudo Honten's "Hoshi Pan," and Shimane's Nanpo Pan's "Rose Bread." The nostalgic and adorable packaging is a must-see, as well as the delicious flavors. The event also offers a variety of exciting experiences, including a stamp rally where the first 700 people to reach the finish line will receive a gift, a hand-roasting workshop, a workshop to make cute, Instagram-worthy sandwiches, and a talk show featuring authors of bread-related books exclusive to Tsutaya Bookstores. Additionally, on April 21st only, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, hidden gems from the Tokatsu region of Chiba Prefecture will be selling their products at the Kashiwa-no-ha Gate Square venue. Craft beer will also be available at a beer booth produced by the Japan Beer Sommelier Association. A wide range of workshops will also be held at this venue, including "Drawing & Decorating Bread," which is open until 4pm and is open to the first 100 people, and a course on how to choose beer. All events at both the main venue and this venue will end once sold out. Events may also be canceled due to weather conditions.
