Flower shop Nicolai Bergmann will be hosting a workshop for fathers and sons on Father's Day, the 16th, on the 8th floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building.
The workshop will involve creating an arrangement by connecting two bouquets, one large and one small, with a ribbon, a traditional baby gift in flower artist Nicolai Bergmann's home country of Denmark. The workshop will be taught by the shop's designer, Mika Tsuchiya. The workshop is open to children in elementary school and older, and participation costs ¥15,750 per pair. The workshop will be held twice, at 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM (approximately two hours each).
Isetan Shinjuku is running a Father's Day campaign in collaboration with the Men's Building and the children's clothing floor in the main building. On the 8th of this month, a father-son photo session was held in collaboration with the magazine Oceans, attracting approximately 100 parent-child pairs. Numerous interactive workshops are being proposed throughout the weekend for fathers and children to experience together.
