Nikolai Bergmann's limited edition fragrance "Morning Rose" has been released. The Bergmanns made a presentation at the spring launch event.

Feb 27, 2013

Ahead of the limited release of flower artist Nicolai Bergmann's latest fragrance, "MORNING ROSE," a launch event was held at the Nicolai Bergmann flagship store in Minami-Aoyama on February 26th. The venue was decorated with yellow flowers, in reference to the morning rose, whose image flower is the yellow rose. Nicolai apparently spent the entire night personally creating the arrangement. Surrounded by flowers, creating an early spring atmosphere, the presentation began with Nicolai creating a bouquet. He skillfully arranged the yellow flowers placed on the table, and presented the completed bouquet to his wife and business partner, Amanda. Morning Rose was born during an inspirational trip the Bergmanns took to Los Angeles. The idea for the fragrance came from a brunch at a restaurant surrounded by roses. "I hope the fresh, spring-like scent of 'Morning Rose' will inspire you with energy and positivity," Nicolai said. The limited-edition fragrance "Morning Rose (50ml/8,925 yen)" is the fourth installment in the "Rose Gardens Collection," following "Modern Rose," "Vintage Rose," and "Classic Rose" released in 2012. Rather than blending the scents of multiple flowers, this fragrance captures the scent of carefully selected roses from around the world. Its clean, refreshing scent makes it easy to wear day or night. While rose is often thought of as a feminine fragrance, its light and modern scent also suits men. As Nikolai is originally from Copenhagen, Denmark, the bottle features a simple, Scandinavian design. The distinctive cap, made of natural wood, reveals a rose bouquet upon opening. It will be available nationwide from March 27th. The event, which began at 10 a.m., as the fragrance's name suggests, included a breakfast from the Nikolai Bergmann Café, complete with lemon-flavored muffins shaped like yellow roses, prepared by Amanda.
