A one-day-only dining event featuring carefully selected Kobe beef will be held at TRUNK (HOTEL) in Jingumae, Shibuya, on March 20th. The event will take place in the hotel's main dining area, TRUNK (KITCHEN). Under the guidance of curator Takefumi Hamada, a well-known gourmet site curator, this special dining event is a collaboration between TRUNK (KITCHEN) and Katsuomi Koike, a Wagyu beef specialist who eats over 200 meals of beef a year and author of "Meat Fool: The Bliss of Wagyu Beef, as Told by a Man Who Practices No Meat, No Life." This special one-day-only special course will feature high-quality beef raised by Hiroto Kawagishi of Kawagishi Farm in Hyogo Prefecture, a third-generation Kobe beef producer. From the appetizer to the main course, carefully selected Kobe beef will be used throughout the meal, and for the main course, you can enjoy charcoal-grilled Kobe beef sirloin prepared by Koike himself, who is an expert on meat. Kawagishi Hiroto and his son Masaki from Kawagishi Farm will also be in attendance on the day.
