Visvim is a fashion brand celebrating its 18th year since its founding. Its products, born from thorough and in-depth exploration of every aspect of the manufacturing process, from design, materials, patterns, sewing, and processing, are highly regarded both domestically and internationally as truly authentic products. Hiroki Nakamura, the brand's creative director, has stated that he draws great inspiration from vintage items, including various traditional crafts from around the world, in his daily work. Since 2012, he has been running a series in POPEYE magazine showcasing his beloved items. The items featured in the series are completely unconventional, spanning a wide range of eras and places, from East to West. From Native American leather moccasins, naturally dyed blankets from Tibet, hats from Ethiopian ethnic minorities, shepherd umbrellas from Alsace, France, and Edo-period firefighter haori coats, they all exude the "beauty of handcraftsmanship" that Nakamura has discovered. This exhibition, which coincides with the publication of the book "My Archive," a compilation of the series, will feature a selection of items from Nakamura's personal collection. This will be a rare opportunity to delve into the brand's craftsmanship and worldview. Talk events and product launches are also planned during the exhibition. For details, please visit the Visvim official website (www.visvim.tv).
