AKIRA NAKA will be holding a pop-up shop entitled "Proposing new silhouettes with modern cuts" from April 4th to 10th at Center Park/Promotion on the 3rd floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku.

The pop-up will feature special order products and the seasonal collection, along with an exhibition of visuals and collages from the Spring/Summer 2018 season.
With the theme of "The Origin," the brand revisited its roots as it expanded into the global market. The 2018 Spring/Summer collection, inspired by the designer's roots in the Antwerp fashion scene of the 1990s, expressed its sharp, sharp, and radical approach to cut lines through bold Japanese coloring and minimalism. The tailored line in particular makes extensive use of completely new cuts, pursuing a new feminine look. The knit line employs the same techniques as the woven fabrics, proposing a new style with a three-dimensional, cutting-based construction.
The textiles are a selection of luxurious pieces from Italy and Japan. The collection features jacquard patterns with a new sheen achieved through specially processed yarns, pieces with a unique textured finish, and silk-linen suiting, all of which express a strong individuality and assertiveness in a realistic way.
"Floral Cut Jacquard Tops" (54,000 yen), "Floral Cut Jacquard Skirt" (53,000 yen)
The special order items, the "Floral Cut Jacquard Tops" (54,000 yen) and the "Floral Cut Jacquard Skirt" (53,000 yen), feature cut jacquard, with each piece of fringe cut by hand, giving them a luxurious look. The fringe sways with the movement of the body and its three-dimensional appearance adds a special touch to any style. Both items will be available from April.
"Cardigan" (65,000 yen)
Another special order item, the "Cardigan" (65,000 yen), which is currently on sale, is knitted using synthetic yarn that is normally used for the collars of polo shirts, etc., giving it a unique crispness and sharp impression despite being a knit. The movement of the panel hanging down the back creates a unique modern look, making it a piece that can be paired with denim or other items to create a new style.
