Luxury accessory brand discord Yohji Yamamoto will be launching its 2018 Spring/Summer collection, "discord Syndrome," at all Discord Yohji Yamamoto stores nationwide and at Yohji Yamamoto (Discord retailers) from January 10th.

Yohji Yamamoto's avant-garde cuts and simple yet bold clothing are incorporated into the designs of a conceptual bag collection, complemented by an iconic classic series, to complete the brand's seasonal collection.

"Flap Hand-Bag" (103,000 yen)

This time, items output in a variety of tones based on the accumulation of creations are released wearing the phenomenon known as "discord." The lineup includes the "Flap Hand-Bag" (103,000 yen), which features an asymmetrical design made up of straight lines and curves, the "Hobo Bag" (118,000 yen), which is both delicate and bold, the new "Y-Back Pack – Linen" (68,000 yen) from the Y Backpack series, the "'ORI' Leather Tote" (98,000 yen), a large leather tote with sides folded like paper, and the small-sized "GETA Small Bag" (155,000 yen) from the popular GETA series.

The mature and sophisticated color scheme, centered around beige, black, and warm red, with cool accents of white and blue, creates a perfect spring/summer look.


The special visuals were shot by photographer Mika Ninagawa, following the Fall/Winter 2017 collection. They are currently available at the Discord GINZA SIX store, in the Spring/Summer 2018 collection catalog, and on the Discord official website (http://www.yohjiyamamoto.co.jp/discord/).

In addition, some items from Discord's 2018 Spring/Summer collection have been available in advance since late November last year at the GINZA SIX store, as well as at the Isetan Shinjuku store, Iwataya Main Store, Osaka Takashimaya store, and Yohji Yamamoto Aoyama Main Store.
