This exhibition is presented by Henri Loiret, Honorary Director of the Louvre, and Nils Herrmann, Director of the Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum. Co-curated by Akiya Takahashi, the exhibition unfolds around a theme, showcasing a constant dialogue between Chaumet jewelry and artistic trends, and between historical and contemporary pieces. The innovative scenography designed by Bureau Bétac will allow visitors to discover new and unprecedented jewellery. In addition to Chaumet's exceptional collection, with the support of renowned museums and cultural institutions in France and abroad, approximately 300 pieces of jewellery, small artworks, paintings, and drawings will be on display in Japan for the first time. Chaumet, which has had strong ties to Japan since the late 18th century, has created a special high jewellery set for this exhibition in homage to Japan and its culture. It celebrates the delicacy of nature, a source of inspiration shared by Japanese art and the Maison's designers.
