Gucci presented its Spring/Summer 2014 men's collection at Milan Fashion Week. Designer Frida Giannini designed it. The collection featured the brand's signature floral patterns and sporty elements. The color palette included white, beige, and gray, with blue, coral, burgundy, khaki, and yellow added. High-tech materials like neoprene and leather were used for bonded coats and T-shirts. Functional yet graphic windbreakers and hooded coats were also key pieces this season. Inspired by the brand's equestrian roots, riding pants feature contrasting colors and materials at the inner thigh and hem for a techno feel. Suits were also crafted from materials like stretch jersey and nylon cotton. Instead of shirts, the collection suggested styling with small-patterned scarves and T-shirts. Pants were all ankle-length. The boxy silhouettes of pullovers, coats, and blousons, combined with slim-fitting bottoms, created a symmetrical and balanced overall look. The shoes are traditional leather lace-up sneakers, and the bag can be used in three ways: as a tote, backpack, or Boston bag.
