From September 11th to October 31st, Hotel New Otani Makuhari's tea and cocktail bar, "The Lounge," will be hosting the "Sweets & Sandwich Buffet - Chestnut and Grape Harvest Festival," featuring three types of Mont Blanc, a fresh grape tasting, and a slightly spooky Halloween menu. Mont Blanc is a fall favorite, and the buffet will feature three varieties made with potato, chestnut, and pumpkin paste. A limited-time special, "Ice Mont Blanc" will also be available, featuring rich milk gelato topped with chestnut paste. The lineup also includes sweet, slightly spooky Halloween dishes, such as a tower of stacked cream puffs, a "Tower of Eyes" with glowing eyes made from panna cotta, a "Spider Web Mousse" modeled after a spider's web, and a "Black Roll Cake" with a bamboo charcoal-infused crust and pumpkin cream. There will also be a "Tasting of Three Types of Fresh Grapes" corner where you can try your hand at grape picking. In addition to the hotel's signature roast beef, the menu will also feature new dishes such as the BLT Black Bagel, featuring a striking black dough made with bamboo charcoal, pumpkin cheese gratin, cold pumpkin soup, and the colorful Bagna Cauda. Other classic dishes include curry and special pancakes. Halloween Week will also be held from October 23rd to 31st. Not only "The Cocktail," but the main entrance, hallways, and even the staff will be decorated for Halloween. The lounge menu will also feature "Mont Blanc - A Tale of Three Chestnuts," featuring chestnuts from Italy, France, and Japan, and a piping hot pumpkin pie will be available as a limited-time special. Lunch is available from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM, and dinner is available from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM (dinner is only available on Saturdays, Sundays, September 29th, and October 27th). The admission fee is 3,600 yen for adults on weekdays and 3,800 yen on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays (4,000 yen from October 23rd to 31st), 2,000 yen for elementary school students, and 900 yen for children aged 4 and over.
