Tokyo brand ANREALAGE's exhibition "A COLOR UN COLOR" will be held at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa from July 12th. This exhibition is the second in the "Philosophical Fashion" series, which introduces creators who continue to propose fashion based on a consistent concept.
The theme of ANREALAGE's 2013-14 Autumn/Winter collection, announced at the Tokyo Collection in March, "COLOR," is expressed in a transparent gallery. During the exhibition, there will also be shows and an artist talk by designer Kunihiko Morinaga.
Morinaga was born in Tokyo in 1980. After graduating from Vantan Career School, he founded ANREALAGE in 2003. Based on the three concepts of "A REAL," "UNREAL," and "AGE," which are also the origins of the brand name, the brand has created clothes that explore the relationship between the human body and the "shape" of clothing, such as clothes themed around the skeleton of clothing (13SS), clothes that incorporate the concept of time (12-13AW), and spherical and triangular clothing tailored to fit the human body (09SS).
