Even the bottom layer of the parfait glass is delicious! Shiseido Parlour is currently holding the "Midsummer Parfait Fair" featuring a wide variety of seasonal fruits.

Jul 5, 2017

Shiseido Parlour Ginza Main Store Salon de Cafe is holding the first part of the "2017 Midsummer Parfait Fair" until July 30th, offering six different parfaits made with seasonal fruits, divided into two periods with three varieties each.

With the desire to "enjoy the taste until the very end," all of the parfaits at this fair are filled with fruit jelly or fruit compote all the way to the bottom of the parfait glass. The first three parfaits include the "Wakayama Prefecture Sakai Farm Arakawa Peach Parfait" (2,160 yen, tax included), made with Arakawa Peaches, a brand of peach from Wakayama Prefecture that's hard to find in Tokyo; the "Okinawa Prefecture Yaeyama Islands Apple Mango Parfait" (2,580 yen, tax included), which uses sun-kissed Okinawa Prefecture apple mangoes for a tropical feel; and the "Gifu Prefecture Ibi County Blueberry Parfait" (1,890 yen, tax included), which uses large, flavorful blueberries in the sorbet, cream, and jelly. To celebrate the 115th anniversary of the establishment, the parfait also includes the "Nagano Prefecture Shinshu Hatakobo Koihime Strawberry Parfait" (1,890 yen, tax included), which uses "Natsuaki Koihime Strawberry" strawberries harvested in the parfait's own greenhouse, even in the sauce. This lineup will allow you to fully enjoy the summer in Ginza. The second round will run from August 1st to 31st and will feature parfaits of fig, golden peach, white peach, Keitt mango, and "Summer Autumn Strawberry Koihime."
