The catalog for the exhibition "Disobedient Bodies: JW Anderson curates The Hepworth Wakefield," curated by Jonathan Anderson, the Northern Irish designer behind LOEWE and his own label, J.W. Anderson, is being reprinted. It's scheduled to arrive in August, and preorders are currently being accepted at select bookstores across Japan. The book, limited to 2,000 copies, was produced in conjunction with the exhibition, which ran from March 18 to June 18, in collaboration with Anderson and Andrew Bonacina, along with OK-RM, the design studio behind the UK publisher IN OTHER WORDS. The book, which features one work per page, is purposefully bound simply with a rubber band across its 142 pages. The book includes unpublished and previously exhibited works by British photographer Jamie Hawkesworth, a photographer Anderson esteems, as well as a conversation between Anderson and Andrew Bonacia, chief curator of the Hepworth Wakefield art gallery in West Yorkshire, England. The book also includes works by artists and fashion designers such as Henry Moore, Eileen Gray, Jean Paul Gaultier, Christian Dior, and Helmut Lang, as well as a selection of pieces from Anderson's own collection. This is a great opportunity for those who missed out on the last edition to get their hands on one.
