Alexis Mabile presented his Fall/Winter 2017-18 Haute Couture collection in a presentation format at the Hôtel d'Evreux, an event space facing Place Vendôme in Paris, on July 4th. The collection, titled "Parfums de femme" ("Women's Fragrances"), featured looks inspired by a variety of colors and scents. Bergamot, tonka, and opoponax evoked the image of gold, showcasing a silk jumpsuit and cape adorned with gold glitter roses. Peony, carnation, and geranium inspired a pleated organza cape and silk velvet long dress, as well as a crepe bustier and smoking dress. Almond, prune, and rosewater inspired nude colors, showcasing a bustier dress with a white and nude gradient pleated tulle and a pale rose dress embroidered with flowers.

Unifying the image of night, Ancholie, Fig and Musk presented pleated organza corset dresses and purple bustier dresses, while Vervenne, Hitronel and Ginger brought out the dusky green of lichen, presenting a platinum brocade cape and satin smocking set and a long pleated organza dress embroidered with flowers.

Although the silhouettes were very classic, they also exuded the youthfulness that is characteristic of Alexis Mabille, and the simple designs accentuated the beauty of each item.
