Hotel Emanon, a multi-purpose shopping complex, opens in Shibuya. Combining food, merchandise, and events.

Jun 20, 2014

SOULPLANET, a production company based in TABLOID in Hinode, Tokyo, will open HOTEL EMANON, a complex consisting of a restaurant, coffee bar, and select shop, in Nanpeidai, Shibuya, on June 21st.

The facility's space is based on the concept of a "nameless hotel where a wide variety of people come and go." The concept is a "LIFE STYLE HUB BASE," a lifestyle hub that will be loved by all guests, make them want to stay forever, and make them want to visit every day.

The first floor is a "complex area" that combines a DAILY RESTAURANT, which showcases its commitment to quality ingredients, a COFFEE BAR serving specialty coffee, and a select shop stocking furniture and miscellaneous goods.

The Coffee Bar, a counter space located next to the entrance, will sell carefully selected coffees as well as tobacco and miscellaneous goods, and will also be available for sale on the street. The "Daily Restaurant" offers a menu featuring Miura vegetables under the theme of "NATURAL FOOD." Open for lunch, cafe, and dinner, the lunch menu changes weekly and includes a daily special set. Freshly baked homemade bread is available at the cafe. Located at the back of the restaurant are two private rooms (separate fees apply) that require reservations and are equipped with a bar counter and karaoke. There is a Black Card system with an annual fee of 50,000 yen, which entitles members to a variety of benefits, including half the private room fee. The select shop does not have a dedicated sales space, but rather allows customers to purchase items such as lighting fixtures and furniture used in the restaurant, as well as tableware used in the restaurant. The store will stock original items and uniquely selected miscellaneous goods, and will also regularly host pop-up stores in collaboration with interior shops and stylists. "As the restaurant's name 'EAT LOCAL' suggests, we have prepared a menu that local residents can come and eat every day. We also have booth seating and a children's menu, so it is suitable for families. As a facility, it has a lot of potential, so we think it will be a place that people can use with their own ideas," said a person in charge of the facility.
