The outlet mall "Premium Outlets" will be holding a "Parent-Child Resort Shopping Campaign" to coincide with the summer vacation period from July 18th to August 31st.
The campaign is in support of "Parent-Child Day" (the fourth Sunday of July), advocated by photographer Bruce Osborne, and was designed to deepen the bond between parents and children in their early twenties and college students. During the campaign period, gifts will be given to parents and children who visit the mall together, and a bus tour with special benefits for parents and children will be held.
The "Parent-Child Resort Shopping Tour," an official "Parent-Child Day" bus tour, will include shopping at Gotemba Premium Outlets (Gotemba City, Shizuoka Prefecture), Sano Premium Outlets (Sano City, Tochigi Prefecture), and Ami Premium Outlets (Ami Town, Inashiki District, Ibaraki Prefecture), as well as a tour of nearby tourist spots. Special perks include all-you-can-eat pancakes and conveyor belt sushi, and parents and children who participate will receive an original "Parent-Child Tote" bag as a gift.
In addition, if parents and children visit the information desk at a Premium Outlet mall during the campaign period and share the "Parent-Child Resort Shopping Campaign" website on Facebook or Twitter, they will receive a free parent-child tote bag. Participating malls include nine malls: Gotemba, Sano, Ami, Shisui, Rinku, Kobe-Sanda, Toki, Tosu, and Sendai-Izumi.
Other campaigns include "Parent-Child Day" coupon sheets and a "Premium Outlet Plan" that allows you to enjoy the Premium Outlets at a discount using Orix Rent-A-Car.
A free "Parent-Child Photo Session" with Bruce Osborne will also be held at Ami Premium Outlets (September 14th) and Shisui Premium Outlets (September 15th). Participation is by lottery, and applications are accepted on the Premium Outlets' special page.
