British outerwear brand Mackintosh opened a limited-time store at Gotemba Premium Outlets (1312 Fukazawa, Gotemba City, Shizuoka Prefecture) until February 23rd. This is the brand's first outlet store.
In addition to the brand's iconic handmade rubberized coats, the store also carries trench coats and best-selling quilted jackets, all of which are available at outlet prices of 30 to 40% off. The sales floor area is 80 square meters.
Gotemba Premium Outlets, the largest retail outlet in Japan, saw the opening of Mitsukoshi Isetan Holdings in August last year, followed by Tory Burch in September. Alexander Wang opened its world's first outlet store in November. The mall will also feature approximately 210 stores, including high-end brands such as Alexander McQueen, Aquascutum, Balenciaga, and Maison Martin Margiela.
