On August 2nd, the Shin-Marunouchi Building in Tokyo's Marunouchi district will host a charity event for children in Tohoku called "Hope and Love Day with HRH." The event is organized by "Hope and Love for Japan," an organization founded by women working in the fashion industry in Paris. This marks the third charity event for the Great East Japan Earthquake, and this year, a variety of creatives, including hair stylists, musicians, and actresses, will participate as volunteers, utilizing their respective skills. Last year's popular "Family Portrait" will feature photographers such as Katsumi Omori and Yasuyuki Takagi taking photos that will strengthen family bonds. Prior to the shoot, artists active at Paris Fashion Week will apply makeup and hair styling. Meanwhile, in the "Kids' Photo Studio," stylist Kumiko Iijima, known for working with Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, will be in charge of children's costumes. Guests can dress up as little Kyary Pamyu Pamyu Pamyu for a memorable photo shoot. The beauty workshop will also feature makeup seminars and cooking lessons by a chef from an organic restaurant. A beauty salon will also be open, offering nail care, scalp massages, hand care, and more. The venue will also host a flea market featuring Tokyo's leading fashion brands and stylists. Guests including Rikaco, Amemiya Toko, and Kazama Yumie will appear at talk shows, where they will talk about beauty secrets, makeup techniques, Parisian fashion, and more. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Michinoku Future Fund, Okinawa Ryubi no Sato, and Miyagi Bikki Association General Incorporated Association, to support children affected by the disaster.
