VEGETABLE SHAVE ICE, a shaved ice shop using vegetable syrup, will open for a limited time from July 25th to 29th at Rocket Harajuku (6-9-6 Jingumae, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo).

The lineup features five new types of shaved ice that allow you to enjoy vegetables like a dessert. The lineup includes bright red sweet and sour rhubarb, fragrant coriander combined with kiwi, refreshingly sweet yellow tomato, sweet pumpkin combined with milk, and a ginger-based, spicy chili pepper.

Shaved ice seems to be all the rage this year, with shaved ice fairs around Tokyo Station and high-end shaved ice at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo. With the rainy season finally over and summer in full swing, why not try finding your favorite shaved ice?
