The "Monaco Royal Wedding Exhibition," commemorating the marriage of Prince Albert II of Monaco and former Olympic swimmer Princess Charlene, will be held in the galleries on the seventh floor of the main and new buildings of the Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store. The exhibition will run from July 23 to August 4. The first part of the exhibition will introduce the history of Monaco through historical documents and portraits of past princes. The second part will feature jewelry associated with Prince Albert II's mother, the late Princess Grace Kelly, who remains popular to this day, as well as materials from films she appeared in. The third part will feature the 5-meter-long wedding dress with veil by Giorgio Armani worn by Princess Charlene at her wedding. The dress, which took a total of 2,500 hours to create, including 700 hours of embroidery alone, features 40,000 Swarovski crystals, 20,000 teardrop-shaped pearls, and 30,000 gold gems.

Other beautiful items used in the ceremony will also be on display, including the luxurious "Ecume" tiara, which was specially ordered for the wedding, and jewelry.
