Moynat, France's oldest trunk manufacturer, is hosting a pop-up shop called "LE MOYNAT TRUNK SHOW." The shop will feature the "Cabas Jardinier bag," a design inspired by Hiroshi Fujiwara's unique style. The event will run from March 25th to April 7th at the Luxury Stage on the fourth floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku. The bag was inspired by a conversation between Fujiwara, a loyal customer of the brand, and artistic director Ramesh Nair during a visit to the brand's Paris atelier. The bag is based on an archive initial canvas bag created by Henri Rapin in 1920, and is crafted from a lightweight linen canvas. The Moynat signature is printed on the flacon calf leather piping. Furthermore, the "FRGMT" pattern, which stands for fragment design, a brand headed by Fujiwara, has been incorporated into the design.
It will be available in two sizes and in two color palettes: sepia brown and carbon black. Furthermore, the surface treatment incorporates a modern frame printing technique that changes from matte to satin to iridescent.
