Moynat and Pharrell Williams collaborate to release adorable train-themed bags and scarves

French bag brand MOYNAT has collaborated with musician Pharrell Williams to present the "Train Collection," a collection inspired by trains.

The collection was born when Pharrell was inspired by an old train-themed label he found inside a vintage trunk while visiting Moynat's atelier in Paris.

The lineup includes playful items such as an evening bag (1.54 million yen) shaped like a train and wagon, inspired by American railroad cars; a pochette made of Taurillon Gex leather (large: 75,000 yen, small: 60,000 yen) printed with a colorful train illustration; and a scarf (priced from 39,000 yen to 108,000 yen) featuring a train graphic reminiscent of Constructivist art.

Moynat's artistic director, Ramesh Nair, commented, "Every adult was once a child, but only a few adults remember that," and explained the reason for adopting the motif of a train, which symbolizes the "inner child" that lies deep within one's heart.

The "Train Collection" debuted at the Paris select shop "Colette" on October 13th, and went on sale at Moynat Boutique in Paris and London from October 20th. In Japan, the collection will be available at the "Le Moynat Trunk Show" held at the Isetan Shinjuku store from December 17th to January 13th.
