
This spring, Tokyo Station and its surrounding facilities will be introducing a variety of seasonal events and new menus. One such event is the "SAKURA Promotion" at Tokyo Station Hotel, which will run from March 1st to April 30th.
During this promotion, the first-floor lobby lounge will be offering "SAKURA Sweets" (2,222 yen *reference price), a set of cherry blossom-themed sweets and flavored tea. Guests can also enjoy "SAKURA French Toast" (1,574 yen *reference price), a fluffy brioche and espuma with the scent of cherry blossoms.
In addition, the station facility "Ecute Tokyo" will also be introducing a number of limited-edition products related to the upcoming season. Among these, three cherry blossom-themed sweets are attracting attention. Koiwai Farm will offer "Adult Cookies 'Sakura'" (602 yen), which incorporates salted cherry blossom leaves, while Hana Shunpu will offer "Four Seasons Castella Sakura" (1,200 yen), which also incorporates cherry blossom leaves. Doux Pâtisserie a Tokyo will also release "Sakura Roll" (1,574 yen), which is made with a dough containing cherry blossom leaves and wrapped around cherry blossom paste.
Meanwhile, the spring-only Easter-themed items include a lineup of egg-based food dishes and bean snacks. On sale are Andersen's "Soft-boiled Egg Bacon Potato" (240 yen), Koiwai Farm's "Pudding Set" (973 yen), Tsubame Grill Deli's "Scotch Egg" (259 yen), and Kasho Rokubei's "Hisago Anes" (200 yen). A "Desk my Style" pop-up shop will open at the "ikisui" event space in Ecute Tokyo from March 16th to 29th. The shop will offer items selected by buyers from Odakyu Department Store to support office time in your new life. Key items include the wood-grain thermometer and hygrometer "FRAME" (¥5,800), the "compact mirror" (¥1,500) featuring a Kyoto Nishijin pattern, "camphor oil" (10ml/¥1,600) with a refreshing camphor-like scent, and "fundoshi" (loincloths), which are gaining popularity as relaxing wear (starting from ¥1,980). The "Sakura Nihonbashi Rally 2015" will also be held throughout Tokyo Station City. This stamp rally will be held every Saturday and Sunday from March 21st to April 5th. The first 1,000 people to collect all the stamps will receive an original hand towel. The stamps will be placed in a total of seven locations, including nearby department stores and commercial facilities.
