This series introduces makeup tips for this spring/summer season from the SS15 runway. The seventh installment is from 3.1 Phillip Lim.

The collection features a striking combination of sheer, translucent materials and airy details. The key to the makeup is a nude, lustrous complexion. Inspired by the sensuality of skin shining in the morning light streaming into a bedroom, this effortlessly soft, refined sexiness complements a light and airy style.

Moisturizer is used as the base. The key is highlighting to accentuate the cheekbones, bridge of the nose, and high points of the face. This brings out a feminine glow.

White eyeshadow applied from the inner corner of the eye to the lower eyelid creates a bright, powerful look. The lips are subdued and finished with just lip gloss.

While the elaborate details give off a sense of luxury, this season's 3.1 Phillip Lim collection also exudes a sense of comfort and relaxation, reminiscent of homewear. The sheer makeup adds an inner sexiness to the look.
