Become beautiful with cake-like bath salts! German brand "Badefee" arrives in Japan for the first time

Mar 23, 2015

German beauty brand BADEFEE has made its Japan debut. From March 1st to 29th, pop-up shops will be open at four Isetan Mirror locations: Lumine Shinjuku, Celeo Hachioji, Kinshicho Terminal, and Shonan T-SITE. BADEFEE was founded in Düsseldorf, Germany, in 2009 with the concept "Bathe your beautiful!" It all began when founder Olga Boxberger gave a friend a bath bomb made with high-quality cocoa butter, shea butter, coconut oil, and almond oil. Currently, the brand focuses on the "Bath Patisserie" series, featuring bath bombs shaped like pastries. The lineup includes the adorable "Bath Praline," a replica of a praline; the small cake-like "Bath Cube," the delicious donut-shaped "Bath Donut," and the chocolate bar-inspired "Bath Chocolate." Each item is exquisitely crafted to look just like a real sweet. Other products on offer include bath bombs with delicate bubbles and bath teas made with organic tea leaves. All items are handmade by artisans.

A total of 65 items from the Bath Patisserie series and bath bombs, which are synonymous with the brand, will be available at the four pop-up shops. A limited edition set of three types, perfect for gifts, is also on sale.
