This series introduces makeup tips for this fall from the runway of the 2014-2015 Autumn/Winter collection. The seventh installment is from 3.1 Phillip Lim. Inspired by "Rock the Kasbah" (from the 1982 album Combat Rock) by the London-based punk rock band The Clash, the look evokes a new wave punk vibe. The key elements are boldly angled brows, clean eyelids, and a subtle blush that emphasizes the contours. For base makeup, apply tinted moisturizer to the center of the face and blend outward, then apply concealer to any dull areas, such as under the eyes. To finish, apply loose powder all over the face for a translucent, light-reflecting complexion. For blush, blend a beige blush all over the cheeks and then layer a brown blush on top to create a natural, 3D effect. The eyes are kept simple with no eyeshadow or eyeliner, just mascara. For the eyebrows, a brush is used to fill in the brows, mixing several matte eyeshadow shades.

For the nails, NARS Nail Polish R3680 (Crossroads) from the 3.1 PHILLIP LIM FOR NARS NAIL COLLECTION (available in limited quantities at Isetan Shinjuku from August 21st) is used.

The lead artist is Francelle Daly of NARS. The main products used include Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer, Radiant Creamy Concealer, Light Reflecting Setting Powder Loose, Blush 4024 (Nico), Blush 4011 (Zen), Larger Than Life Length Mascara, and Single Eyeshadows 2035N (Blondie), 2004N (Bali), and 2073 (Coconut Grove).
