On April 1, Longchamp will launch an online customization service for its iconic Le Pliage Cuir bag. This custom order service is based on three bag sizes and one clutch. The bag body, flap and handle, tab, and shoulder strap can each be individually customized with eight different colors. Five color variations are also available for the lining. Customization options, such as perforation and engraving, can be added to create a truly unique bag. On the official website, which accepts orders, customers can visualize the finished product by selecting the size, color, and optional finishing touches. In addition to the Longchamp Ginza store, in-store customization is also available at a pop-up event being held at the Hankyu Umeda Main Store from May 6 to 12. Prices are ¥69,000 for the small size, ¥81,000 for the medium size, and ¥91,000 for the large size. The dedicated clutch is ¥15,000. Perforation and engraving are complimentary. Going forward, the company plans to change the leather color each season.
