Compartes Chocolatier, a long-established luxury chocolate maker and favorite of Hollywood celebrities, will be releasing new Halloween sweets on September 17th.

One of the highlights is the "Halloween Art Palette" (356 yen each, tax included), which will be making its debut this year. These are artistic works that use cookies and chocolate as canvases, topped with three-dimensional skull chocolates and colorful ingredients.

There are three types available: "Skull Cookie," a chocolate-dipped cookie topped with skull chocolate; "Skull Color," milk chocolate topped with skull chocolate, dried fruit, and meringue baked goods; and "Color," white chocolate decorated with dried fruit and pastel-colored meringue baked goods.

In addition, the "Original Truffles" series, which is popular every year for its "Pumpkin Skull" design, now has a lineup of three new flavors: "Marron Cookie" (324 yen including tax), "Honey Ginger" (324 yen including tax), and "Pumpkin Caramel" (378 yen including tax).

"Marron Cookie" is a truffle made with chestnut ganache made from chestnuts from Northern Italy and cookies coated in chocolate. "Honey Ginger" is characterized by the gentle sweetness of honey accented with a ginger flavor. "Pumpkin Caramel," shaped like a mischievous smiling jack-o'-lantern, is made with ganache coated in white chocolate to bring out the sweetness of the pumpkin and the bittersweet flavor of the caramel. Other items include the new "Pumpkin Stick" (486 yen, tax included), featuring two adorable stacked jack-o'-lanterns, and the "Halloween Skull Stick" (648 yen, tax included), dressed up like a ribbon. Other items include "Pumpkin Skull"-shaped "Halloween Cookies" (324 yen, tax included), made with pumpkin powder, a Halloween-only version of "Love Fruit Mix" (540 yen, tax included), and the "Halloween Art Pie" (2,160 yen, tax included), finished with a "Skull Pumpkin" design. Available at Compartes Chocolatier's Aoyama, Seibu Shibuya, Sogo Yokohama, Seibu Ikebukuro, and Seibu Funabashi stores (some products only available; Halloween product availability is undecided), as well as Grams Cafe Los Angeles (affiliated restaurant; some products only available; Halloween products only available).
