Salvatore Ferragamo will be hosting events in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya featuring shoemakers from its Italian headquarters to demonstrate the shoemaking process for its popular "Made to Order Driving Shoes" program. Launched in June, "Made to Order Driving Shoes" allows customers to choose the upper material and color, sole color, and the color of its iconic "Gancini" motif to create a custom design from a wide selection of 112 combinations. Customers can also choose the width (foot circumference) and have their name engraved on the inside of the shoe, creating a truly unique pair. Sizes range from 5 to 11 (23-29 cm). Prices vary depending on the material, ranging from ¥103,680 to ¥324,000. Customers who order through this program can also order a belt in the same material and color as their shoes. This event will not only allow visitors to experience and order the "Made to Order" program, but will also feature a shoemaking demonstration by shoemakers who have inherited the Maison's legacy of craftsmanship. Shoemaker Floriano Pratelli will be visiting Japan specifically for this event, and will demonstrate the craftsmanship of driving shoes, an experience not normally available. Founder Salvatore Ferragamo's lifelong pursuit of fashionable, well-fitting shoes has been a lifelong pursuit. The brand's unique, traditional manufacturing methods have been carefully passed down through generations of skilled artisans since the 1920s. This is an opportunity to experience the tradition, dedication, and craftsmanship of Salvatore Ferragamo, often referred to as the "Art of Shoemaking."
