Isetan Men's 2015 Pre-Fall Collection has arrived on the International Luxury Floor. The overall trend for this autumn/winter season is a return to masculinity. Details from suits and military styles are making a comeback, while timeless staples are being made lighter and softer in materials. Salvatore Ferragamo, which introduced voluminous styles like oversized scarves to its collection this season, offers a double-faced wool jersey jacket (230,000 yen) with piping and unlined, paired with yellow five-pocket fine-ribbed corduroy pants (62,000 yen). The inner layer is coordinated with a wool knit (88,000 yen) and a checked shirt (42,000 yen). The combination of vibrant accents with basic colors like blue and gray creates a striking look. For shoes, he paired the look with the brand's popular long-nose bit moccasins (83,000 yen).
This season's theme for BRUNELLO CUCINELLI, which proposes new styles based on artisan techniques with a free-flowing style exemplified by its jacket gilet, is "sporty sartorial." While the brand has previously focused on items such as jackets and pants and blousons, this season it is proposing a sporty take on suits. A suit (550,000 yen) with turned-up jacket cuffs is paired with a down gilet (180,000 yen) and a cut-and-sew top (44,000 yen) as innerwear. A signature style for this season is white sneakers (100,000 yen) with a suit. A gilet that can be paired with a three-piece suit is also available exclusively at Isetan Mitsukoshi. In recent seasons, Brioni has featured playful pieces, including pink and green hues and floral-print blousons for spring, but this time the trend is a return to basics. The collection features slim-fitting jackets with an equestrian theme, as well as tapered pants with soft pleats. The classic, classic Brunico lustrous jacket (645,000 yen) is a luxurious item typical of Brioni, crafted with sartorial techniques from an elaborate cashmere silk fabric featuring a dark navy base, bias blue, and a three-dimensional micro-check. Paired with blue-gray pants (78,000 yen) and a checked shirt (66,000 yen), the look is coordinated in a chic blue palette, drawing on this season's color chart of silver gray, midnight ink, and Regency blue.
