Undercover's 25th anniversary exhibition features a labyrinth of 100 looks from the collection

Sep 6, 2015

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of UNDERCOVER, the exhibition "LABYRINTH OF UNDERCOVER 25 Year Retrospective" will be held at the Tokyo Opera City Art Gallery from October 10th to December 23rd. Founded in 1990 by designer Jun Takahashi, UNDERCOVER has garnered attention not only for its fashion but also for its diverse creations, including photography, video, and dolls. The title of this 25th anniversary exhibition, "LABYRINTH" (maze) reflects the intricate intertwining of UNDERCOVER's multifaceted creations. The exhibition will feature approximately 100 collection looks from the brand's 25 years since its founding, as well as show footage, dolls, and paintings. This will be a rare opportunity to experience the world of UNDERCOVER, which is rich in culture and not just fashion. The works are exhibited making full use of the spacious space of the Tokyo Opera City Art Gallery, and the wide variety of creations displayed in rooms of various sizes gives the impression of a labyrinth.
