BOGLIOLI opens its first flagship store in Marunouchi

Sep 12, 2015

The first flagship store in Japan for the popular Italian tailor, BOLIOLI, opened on September 12th on the first floor of the Yurakucho Building in Tokyo's Marunouchi district.
Like its first store, which opened in Milan last year, the new store faces the street and features a mid-century interior design accented by a golden yellow key color. The tranquil design, with brass and wood fixtures and marble floors, is consistent with the Milan store's aesthetic. While the Milan store also carries women's wear on the second floor, the Tokyo store is on the first floor and exclusively carries men's wear. This space allows businessmen working in the area to try on clothes in a relaxed atmosphere.
The 120-year-old brand moved its presentation venue from Pitti Immagine Uomo in Florence, where it had traditionally presented its collections, to Milan Men's Fashion Week last fall/winter. While retaining the signature unconstructed tailoring that draws on Classico's know-how, the brand has shifted to offering more complete wardrobe solutions. The brand has evolved into a modern image with a color palette that incorporates 1960s men's style and proposals that incorporate elements of luxury resorts. In addition to the traditional standard line, the Tokyo store will carry the full lineup, including the new line "Retford," which was launched this fall and winter.
