BOGLIOLI appoints former Ralph Lauren designer Vossusi as new men's designer [2014-2015 Milan Men's]

Feb 4, 2014

BOGLIOLI, a 120-year-old Italian classicist, welcomed former Ralph Lauren design director Jay Vosoghi as its new men's designer and presented at Milan Men's Fashion Week. The unveiled 2014-2015 AW collection was comprised of three themes: "Milanese Bourgeoisie," featuring modern styling of classic '50s and '60s materials; "Bohemian," inspired by the Navajo tribe and favored by Milan's Brera district culture in the '60s; and "Indigo Sea," featuring deep indigo blues. Overall, the collection embodies the men's elegance of the '60s, a time when new creations and businesses were burgeoning in Milan. Including BOGLIOLI's signature unlined, raw-edge pashmina jacket, all pieces emphasize lightness and softness. Native American jacquards, various checks, new colorways, double-breasted jackets, and large lapels are striking.
