A "Shell and Buffalo Horn Cutlery & Chopstick Rest Making Demonstration" will be held from December 16th in the Western Tableware section of the Kitchen Dining Room on the 5th floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku.

The event, in time for the Christmas and New Year's party season, will introduce shell cutlery (from 600 yen), buffalo horn cutlery (from 600 yen), shell chopstick rests (from 800 yen), knife rests, and other products from the popular "Marus" brand, which is also available in stores. Seasonal variations will also be available, including Christmas patterns and zodiac designs for the New Year.

In addition, local craftsmen will be invited to give a demonstration of how to make chopstick rests. The event will run from December 16th to 25th (excluding December 18th and 21st).
