Every year, Guerlain collaborates with artists to create an artistic bottle to celebrate this special day. This year, muguet, the French word for lily of the valley, a delicate flower that blooms only in spring, will be worn in jewelry adorned with lustrous crystals.

A fresh, sweet floral green reminiscent of a moment of spring
The ephemeral and delicate lily of the valley has continued to inspire Guerlain's perfumers.
At first glance, lily of the valley has an image of being simple, refreshing and cheerful. However, its essence cannot be extracted, and it is said to be a "silent flower." To fully understand its nuances and find a new interpretation, Thierry Wasser combined rare ingredients selected from the olfactory palette to create an unforgettable fragrance that is fresh, gentle, and full of bliss.

Just as crystal sparkles in rainbow colors in the light, Muguet's fragrance changes color, shifting from green notes to rosy floral notes.

The top notes are fresh and green, evoking the cheerful atmosphere of spring. The heart notes are refreshing lily of the valley and fresh rose, enveloping you in a sense of happiness with fresh florals. The final notes are a gentle blend of jasmine and fine rose.

The 2022 limited edition bottle is adorned with lily of the valley jewellery, delicately shimmering with crystals. It was created by Francesco Truscelli, a close friend of Guerlain.

Featuring small, bell-shaped flowers in sparkling crystal and vibrant green enamelled leaves, this delicate piece is crafted using techniques used in the making of high jewellery.

The branches and flowers are crafted using lost-wax casting, an ancient technique used in working with precious metals. This method, perfectly mastered at Atelier Truscelli, allows for precise casting down to the smallest detail.


The delicate wreath, once completed through this process requiring the most refined jewellery skills, is then hand-adorned by artisans with 130 zirconia crystals, synthetic stones that sparkle like diamonds. The brass mounting is then whitened to enhance the brilliance of the stone.

The green leaves, which highlight the delicate sparkle of the crystal flowers, are given a plump, three-dimensional effect by applying two layers of cold enamel.

Parisian jewelry designer Francesco Truscelli is renowned for his original designs.
He has previously worked on exceptional pieces for KissKiss, Shalimar, Idylle, and Mon Guerlain. Both Guerlain and Francesco value "passion for future generations," "meeting customer expectations," and "a commitment to personalization."
