Artist Masanao Hirayama's solo exhibition "Game" will be held at TALION GALLERY in Mejiro, Tokyo, from July 16th to August 14th. Using everyday tools like black pen and paper, Masanao Hirayama continually creates drawings filled with allegory, sentiment, symbolic humor, and device. He has held exhibitions both in Japan and abroad and has published numerous art books. The exhibition features a variety of works inspired by commonly familiar games such as playing cards, riddles, sugoroku, and mazes, as well as trivial everyday scenes and events, such as crows digging through garbage and April Fool's Day lies. New drawings and three-dimensional works, some of which are painted using acrylic paint, will explore themes of humor, meaninglessness, rules, and expandability.
