Jean-Paul Hévin releases a gateau that can only be found once a year on Tanabata

Jun 30, 2016

Jean-Paul Hevin will be releasing a limited-time Tanabata collection from July 1st to 7th, inspired by the stars that spread across the night sky on Tanabata.

"Gâteau Star" (1,750 yen) is a sweet made with a highly fragrant cocoa biscuit and rich chocolate mousse. It is decorated with gold chocolate that resembles the stars that shine in the Tanabata sky. "Gâteau Etoile" (1,750 yen) is a gateau with the rich flavor and aroma of gianduja and hazelnuts. It is decorated with silver chocolate that resembles the stars that spread across the Milky Way.

In addition to these, there will be four other products: "Macaron Star" (270 yen), which is made with Brazilian Grand Cru cacao, known for its deep flavor similar to coffee and nuts, and decorated with star patterns; "Macaron Mielin" (270 yen), which has a gorgeous honey aroma and rich sweetness, and "Macaron Etoile" (270 yen), which features Tanabata-only decorations.
