
Max Brenner Chocolate Bar will be offering five "Max Brunch Menu" items starting July 7th. The "Chocolate French Toast" (800 yen, tax included) is a dessert featuring Max Brenner's signature French toast drizzled in milk chocolate fondue and topped with strawberries and bananas. The "Cacao Nib Granola" (700 yen, tax included) combines granola containing cacao nibs, made from roasted cacao bean shells, with plain yogurt, strawberries, and bananas. Other items include the "Bagel Chocolate Dip" (600 yen, tax included), a plain bagel dipped in chocolate fondue and cream cheese; the "Margherita Panini" (750 yen, tax included), made with whole wheat bread and filled with tomato, mozzarella, and basil sauce; and the "Grilled Cheese Panini" (750 yen, tax included), filled with savory bacon and melted shredded cheese.
In addition, the Tokyo Solamachi store will be selling "Chocolate Salt Caramel Soft Cream" (500 yen including tax), a new flavor of the hugely popular "Chocolate Praline Soft Cream." The umami of salt brings out the richness and sweetness of the caramel and chocolate, making it a rich and thick soft cream. Also, on August 5th, all stores will be holding "Chocolate Tail DAY" to help beat the summer heat. "Pure Chocolate Granita (Milk)," a simple and popular frozen drink made with chocolate and milk, will be offered for just 300 yen on that day only, instead of the usual 700 yen.
