Jean-Paul Hevin's "Paris Festival" limited edition collection includes firework-colored Eiffel Tower chocolates

Jun 19, 2016

Jean-Paul Hevin will be releasing the limited-edition "Quatorze Juillet" collection from July 8th to 31st in preparation for Bastille Day on July 14th.

The collection adds a touch of elegance to the nationally celebrated "Quatorze Juillet" (Paris Festival), which includes a grand parade led by the French President and his cavalry down the Champs-Élysées, a spectacular air show painting the Paris skyline in tricolor, and fireworks in the night sky. Created with the image of fireworks bursting from the Eiffel Tower at night in mind, the "Tour Eiffel Rouge" and "Tour Eiffel Jaune" (4,000 yen each) are particularly noteworthy. The Eiffel Tower is shaped like chocolate and colored in the red and yellow of fireworks, respectively. Other items available include "Etincel Rouge" (330 yen), a bonbon chocolate coated with two layers of raspberry flavored ganache and raspberry jam, "Etincel Jaune" (330 yen), a bonbon chocolate coated with two layers of passion fruit flavored ganache and passion fruit jam, and "Part de Fruits" (6 types, 241 yen), which tightly encapsulates the flavors of various fruits.
