The popular annual Kyoto Rekidai Noren Market will be celebrating its 55th year this year.

Celebrating the seasons, the market will offer a selection of flavors unique to Kyoto, including sweets from long-established shops that capture the essence of Kyoto's seasons, and side dishes that combine traditional flavors with the refined atmosphere of old Kyoto. This time, there will be plenty of eat-in options. With a total of approximately 40 seats across four locations, you can enjoy Kyoto delicacies that can only be tasted at the venue, such as ramen and sweets from brands that are making their first appearance at Kyoto Rekidai Noren Market. We will also be introducing a number of exquisite crafts that highlight the traditional culture and techniques of long-established shops.

I Love Strawberries After All! "Strawberry Sweets Special"

We'll introduce a wide variety of Kyoto sweets made with sweet and sour, seasonal strawberries that are both visually stunning and gorgeous.


Sei (Strawberry and Matcha Assortment) 594 yen (9 pieces)
This assortment includes "Sei Strawberry," a sweet and sour strawberry bean paste wrapped in fresh yatsuhashi with a subtle cinnamon aroma, and "Sei Matcha," a matcha-flavored unbaked yatsuhashi with chunky bean paste wrapped in fresh yatsuhashi.


Fruit Parlour Cricket> Amaou Sandwich 1,501 yen (12 slices)
A luxurious fruit sandwich filled with plenty of seasonal Amaou strawberries. The special fresh cream and sweet and sour strawberries melt together. *Limited to 20 items per day starting at 10:00 AM, 20 items per day starting at noon, 2:00 PM, 20 items per day starting at 4:00 PM.

A new Japanese sweet treat featuring mascarpone cream, sponge cake, and large strawberries wrapped in gyuhi rice cake.

"Kyoto Hannari Counter" (Eat-in) Now Available

This time, we'll be introducing the "Kyoto Hannari Counter" (4 locations, totaling approximately 40 seats), where you can enjoy a counter-style eat-in experience.

Opened in 1948, this cafe is popular for its jelly-based menu items. We have prepared a limited edition item of colorful jelly poured over strawberry milk, as well as our signature product, "Jelly Punch" (935 yen/cup).
