Magnolia Bakery's new cheesecake will be available for pre-sale at the Ecute Shinagawa store

Jan 5, 2015

Magnolia Bakery, a New York-based American sweets specialty store, will open a pop-up shop in the Ecute Shinagawa shopping mall, located inside a train station, from January 13th to 25th.
Magnolia Bakery has been a popular sweets specialty store in Japan since its Omotesando store opened in June 2014. Their signature cupcakes became a global hit after appearing in the American TV drama "Sex and the City."
The pop-up shop will offer a variety of items, including the popular strawberry cupcake, banana pudding, cookies, and bar snacks. One of the highlights is the "Cranberry Cheesecake" (980 yen), a Valentine's Day treat. This sweet and sour yet creamy cake will be available at the Ecute Shinagawa store before it opens at the Omotesando store, giving you the chance to be one of the first in Japan to try the new menu items.
