Magnolia Bakery will open a pop-up shop at "MY NY LIFE at ISETAN MEN'S," an event featuring New York lifestyles, held at the Isetan Shinjuku Main Building's 7th floor event hall from November 19th to 24th. The shop's highlight is its limited-edition Black Watch cupcakes. A first for Magnolia, the black watch cupcakes will be edible and feature the same pattern, allowing customers to personalize their initials with their choice. These cupcakes will be sold as a "Black Watch Cupcake Box" (2 cupcakes for 1,100 yen). Other items on offer include large, limited-edition cookies, classic cupcakes, cheesecake, banana pudding, and bar snacks, all featuring a wide variety of colorful and pop American sweets. Original merchandise, including logo tote bags, will also be available. This pop-up store will be part of "US WEEK," held at Isetan Men's Building from November 19th to 25th. With the aim of making food feel like a part of fashion, the store has focused on cupcakes, a treat that has long been popular in America. They have decided to have Magnolia Bakery, which only recently arrived in Japan in June 2014, open a store there.
During "US WEEK," New York-themed living goods and fashion items will be introduced and events will be held at the venue as well as on each floor of the Men's Building.
