Magnolia Bakery Omotesando (Omotesando GYRE B1F, 5-10-1 Jingumae, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo), a New York-based bakery specializing in classic American sweets, will be releasing a limited-time menu item, the "New Year's Cupcake" (530 yen), on December 26th.

The "New Year's Cupcake" is characterized by its light base dough and rich buttercream icing. The dark chocolate topping is printed with the words "Happy New Year! 2015," and the luxurious sprinkles of gold and silver foil sugar create a festive celebration of the arrival of the new year.

Please note that Magnolia Bakery Omotesando will be operating on shorter hours than usual on the 31st, closing at 6:00 PM. After a New Year's Day closure, the bakery will resume normal business hours on the 2nd.
